Terms of use
Last updated 8 October 2026
Short version: Murmury is free and comes as it is. How you use it, and following the rules that apply to you and to the people on your call, is up to you.
1. What Murmury is
Murmury is a free Mac app that listens to a call, notices questions and shows short answers from your documents. It is an early build, not yet notarized by Apple.
2. Your responsibility
Where, when and how you use Murmury is your decision, and so is the responsibility. In particular you are responsible for:
- following the laws that apply to you and to the people on your call, including laws on recording, transcribing or processing conversations. In some places these require everyone's consent: getting it is up to you;
- having the right to use the documents you load;
- respecting your agreements and the rules of the people, companies and platforms you deal with.
3. Answers can be wrong
Answers are written by an AI model from your documents. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it. Murmury is not professional, legal, financial or medical advice.
4. AI services
Murmury works with an AI service you connect yourself, such as Anthropic's API or your own Claude Code login. Its terms, privacy policy and prices apply, and any costs are billed by that service to you.
5. No warranty
Murmury is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage or loss from using it or from being unable to use it. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that the law does not let us exclude.
6. Use of the app
You may use Murmury for personal and business purposes. You may not sell or redistribute it without our permission.
7. Changes and law
We may update Murmury and these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by Italian law, without affecting the consumer protections of the country where you live.
